Hi, friends a bad news for those using the bulk SMS services like gupshup or ways2sms, as per the instructions of Dept. of Telecommunication (Govt. of India) Authority, it is said that the connectivity is being withdrawn from the telecom operators end at the SMSC network. Hence, No Bulk SMS will be allowed or pushed in the network until 30th Sep’10. Thus, the ban of 72 hrs starting 23rd Sep’10 has been extended further. This is in view of the postponement of the Ayodhya verdict from 24th Sep’10 to 28th Sep’10.

Also, please be informed that SMS Pull services (Keywords), whose responses are being sent through PUSH to the end user, shall also not be delivered as the push gateways shall not be functioning.

So friends don’t worry about these SMS services, as they will be functional from 30th Sept’10. Please comment if you have any questions or doubts.
