Rohit Sharma creates new world record in ODI

Rohit sharma has created a world record by scoring 264 runs. He has now became highest scoring batsman in one day international cricket. His 264 was scored in 173 balls with 9- 6’s and 33- 4’s. His strike rate was over 152. This was a magnificent work by team India making total of 404 runs against Sri Lanka. Also Rohit Sharma is first batsman in ODI to create 2 double centuries previously created a score of 209.

Previously this world record was held by:

1. Virender Sehwag with 219 runs.
2. Rohit Sharma with 209 runs.
3. Sachin Tendulkar with 200 runs.
